When starting Direct Support Public Relations, Michi wanted to be considered someone that musicians would trust to go to for advice, guidance, and support while maneuvering through music management. She wanted to see bands thrive and get better placements that help them get ahead and stand out as creatives within the music scene.

When discussing what the visual identity would look like, Michi wanted to be bold, professional, and to showcase her care and love of music management. She wanted to reference elements of riot grrl aesthetics and have a good balance of professionalism and edge.
