Cindysnacks is a vegan snack shop that transformed into a vegan deli that provides hot breakfast and coffee specials. The owner had an established wordmark logo and brand color, but wanted some additional assets and illustrations in order to promote the new and improved shop as well as their new weekend specials. They wanted something that would appeal to a range of ages, that would feel fun, welcoming, and engaging.

I created Snax, the heart ringleader character, and we went with a retro approach for the characters and layouts to invoke a sense of comfort and nostalgia. We pushed the color palette further to compliment their cindy pink and based the art direction on the puns they wanted to use for the special names. These elements were later used for menus, merchandise, and staff shirts.
